So, I got the green light to host a quick contest for all of you beauties out there. Why is it quick? Because I have another assignment on Tuesday to work on. So, this will only run from Monday, June 20 2011 from 10am to 1pm. You can play on Twitter or Facebook.

So set your iPhones, Blackberries, SmartPhones or work calendars to remind you about my contest. The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate towards any La Belle Agency services by our amazing stylists.

What are we looking for: We like funny comments. Comments that make us smile. We also love real women with real reasons for wanting or needing a makeover. Husbands and boyfriends? Yes, we adore when men say they think the woman in their life should have a makeover or if they want one for themselves in order to get woman. Yes, we can help men too. Just keep it creative, clean, cute and quick.

NOTE: Only submissions from 10am - 1pm (CST) June 20, 2011 will be accepted. Gift certificate is only for services performed in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. One Facebook and Twitter posting/entry per person per hour and each posting must be different. Facebook entries have a limitation to 130 characters in order to not have an advantage to Twitter entries with the hashtag starting #LBAgency (required hashtag). Winner must claim prize within 24 hours of announcement and provide an email address for the gift certificate. Gift certificate will be issued by June 22, 2011 midnight in the form of a email PDF attachment. Gift certificate user must be over 18 years old in order for services to be performed. From the Eyes of the Intern

Hello Again Beauties!

I can't believe a month has gone by since I started my internship...time really does fly when your having fun! It's been busy but very exciting at the La Belle Agency in the past month and I am all settled in now...I think. I have been contacting future clients, sat in on more interviews with future stylist, met some of our awesome "family of stylists" (pictured to the right) and even took over half of the office by bringing in my Keurig machine so I can make my morning coffee and tea!

I can't wait to update you all about the most thrilling photo shoot I've done so far. Last week, I had the privilege to go on board a yacht (yes, a real one with a bedroom and a kitchen) which was provided by Yacht-O-Fun Charters on Lake Lewisville for a glamorous fashion photo shoot for Designs by Whitney Bracey.

We woke up with the birds and arrived at the hotel, half asleep, at 4:30 in the morning to begin hair and make-up. After a few cups of coffee and a couple cans of Red Bull, we were ready to begin the day. The models put on their stunning bathing suits Whitney designed and the whole team of photographers, videographers, models, and stylist got into our cars as we began our caravan to Pier 121 Marina. We met up with our captain, Chuck Raines and boarded the yacht. The models put on their jewelry, spray tans and smiles while the captain drove the boat out into the water and the photographer, Iris Swope started shooting immediately afterwards.

Spending an afternoon on a yacht is not what I was expecting to be doing when I was applying for internships. But I am in no way complaining! It was such a fun day and an eye-opening experience to see how much time and planning goes into shooting a look book full of amazing pictures. There is a lot of behind the scenes work involved that I had no idea took place...who knew tan accelerator and glitter hairspray even existed?

I absolutely loved being involved with this photo shoot and I look forward to more photo shoots to come!

From the Eyes of the Intern

Hello, my name is Kayla and I am the new intern for La Belle Agency this summer. I am so excited to be working with La Belle Agency, and I cannot wait to share with you all of the events that I will be participating on during my internship. I am currently a student at The University of North Texas studying Fashion Merchandising with a goal of becoming a stylist. In saying that, working with La Belle Agency is such an amazing opportunity for me, and I am so thrilled to embark on this learning journey!amazing

Speaking of learning, I have been with La Belle Agency for a little over a week and I have learned so much more than I could have ever imagined... already! My first day was nothing short of exhilarating, as I walked into the office and was told the activity-filled agenda for the day. To begin, we discussed what La Belle Agency's mission is, and what we were going to be doing this summer to ensure that this mission was fully embraced (keep checking the blog for updates).

Next, I sat in on two interviews with potential stylists eager to be a part of the La Belle Agency family. The two interviews were so fascinating to experience and it was incredible to view their portfolios consisting of all their hard work, which then created a piece of art.

Following these interviews was my first assignment: styling a before and after photo shoot! This was a pleasant surprise as I thought I would just be watching the makeover take place. I was ecstatic when I was told that I would actually be hands-on behind the scenes, helping in the photo shoot. The model Elizabeth Moore arrived with photographer Kendall Whitman and the glamour began!

They were so much fun and hilarious to work with! Somehow in between constant laughter, cracking jokes, and listening to Adele Pandora Radio, we came up with a stunning "organic" look for Liz with none other than the La Belle Agency trademark color purple, to being the theme.

Talk about an exciting and active first day! What a great way to learn about the industry, this beats going to class any day! I look forward to sharing our next project with you.

Sarah and Frank's Wedding in Aubrey, TX

La Belle Agency was so thankful to participate in this intimate and unforgettable wedding celebrating the marriage of Sarah and Frank in Aubrey, TX. The wedding was full of details from the custom designed blue shoes to the lace around the flowers, which were taken from Sarah's mothers wedding dress.

This was a sweet and meaningful wedding which we will never forget. Sarah's beauty was so easy to enhance and it was such a pleasure to be able to work with such a loving and exciting couple.

The pictures were taken by a talented photographer, Jennifer Sosa. The bride flew her into Texas all they way from New York! Her work is absolutely stunning and her attention to detail is great!

We wish all the happiness in the world to the newlyweds and congratulate them on this amazing journey they are about to embark upon.

La Belle Agency is looking for sharp, creative and enthusiastic individuals with a strong desire to learn about the beauty and fashion industry. Candidates must be highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. Excellent writing, proofreading and interpersonal skills are necessary. Interns passionate about the industry will be able to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Assisting with product management and development including data entry, scheduling and image maintenance.

- Assisting with marketing in advertising, web marketing and public relations.

- Providing administrative support for Marketing/Booking/Scouting Departments.

An opportunity to grow with the company can be offered to the right individual if a position should become available.
